ST19.net
The development of the new ST19 website is now complete with partners finally agreeing content. The site is the third completed for local 14-19 Learning Partnerships: ST19 is designed for young people in South Tyneside.
The ST19 website has information about all learning opportunities and providers in South Tyneside and across Tyne and Wear. There is also lots of advice and information to help young people decide what they want to do between the ages of 16 and 19.
Users of the site can find out about options at 16 and 18 and the kind of courses they can follow and qualifications they can achieve. There is also information about special needs provision, a map of local learning opportunities and signposts to other sources of advice and guidance particularly from the Connexions service.
The most exciting feature of the site is its ability to search the LSC CourseFinder database for local learning opportunities and providers. Information can be found using the search options in the top right hand corner of the screen.
