Mitac Partnership - Projects

E2E Passport - 09-12-2005

Project: E2EPassport.com
Client: MITAC Partnership Ltd (Learning & Skills Council)
Features: Manager program, Offline program, secure login, individual Passport creation, national system ...

The online E2E Passport is a website that aims to support young people on the Entry to Employment (E2E) programme. It recognises that for many of them, E2E involves major change and transition as they attempt to make progress in their lives.

Accordingly, Passport seeks to empower a young person working with an adviser, key worker or mentor, by helping them to set and achieve personal goals and by enabling them to see tangible evidence of the progress they are making.

We believe it is the concepts on which Passport has been built that define its true worth and uniqueness. As we developed Passport we kept fundamental concepts like learner focus, involvement, ownership, accecss, interaction, rapport, transition and progression as our compass points. That’s what’s given the online Passport such a great start.

Online Passport works by enabling trained Passport Advisers (eg E2E key workers or Connexions Personal Advisers) to set up their own learner caseloads with whom they work on a one-to-one basis. Passport activities and forms help both to consider the learners strengths and weaknesses, identify needs and plan and review progress. Learner’s Passports can be saved and returned to at any time.
