Although not a core activity, MITAC Partnership Ltd has nevertheless completed a number of prestigious research-based projects. We only bid for research-based contracts where we feel our knowledge and experience in learning and the development and application of ICT will be able to offer new insights into what we discover.MITAC Partnership’s most recent large-scale research and development project was undertaken for LSC Tees Valley during 2003. This project investigated the impact of an exisiting14-19 Action Plan and supported the development of a new 14-19 learning strategy. It involved interviews with Headteachers, College Principals, Work Based Learning Provider Managers, Project Leaders and Senior Advisers with Middlesbrough LEA, and then collating, analysing and presenting data and preparing interim and final reports.
