E2E Passport Goes Live |
The online Entry to Employment (E2E) Passport (the Passport) went live on 1st June 2004 - the same day that use of the E2E Learners Passport forms became mandatory. The Passport allows E2E learners to work with advisers and key workers to identify needs, plan development, set targets and review progress.
The online E2E Passport uses the power of the internet to further a learner focus; support ownership, interaction and rapport; help to facilitate seamless transition between agencies; and ultimately achieve lasting progression to work and further learning. The online version produced by MITAC Partnership Ltd is the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) sanctioned alternative to using the paper-based document. Passport was built on an earlier product (ProgressMap) developed by MITAC Partnership Ltd.
Exisiting ProgressMap users have been transferred onto the new Passport system and a Support package is almost complete. This will include: Information Sheets covering general issues and on specific forms; Task Sheets facilitating supported and self study; Quality Guide, PowerPoint presentation; and an Passport exemplar.
A revised supporting website and a new management program are in preparation and will complete the new Passport package. |
